I went back to work this week, which amounted to two days of teaching the World's Most Adorable and Well-Behaved Third Graders, so I'll keep my whining to a minimum...otherwise, my friends and family who have REAL jobs might be forced to punch me in the face. After school today, I picked up Greg and Keira, and we met with our agent to write up our offer on the house in the video below. Since it's bank-owned and banks have cushy schedules, much like part-time teachers, they won't even receive the offer until Monday, so we'll be waiting until sometime next week for a response. Fingers and toes crossed that our house-hunting has come to an end at last!
Keira is really maxing out on cuteness these days, as evidenced by this photo of her working on Aunt Jenny's car. (Grampy was doing most of the actual work, but Keira took every opportunity to hijack his tools and do what appeared to be very complicated repairs on her own.)

Unfortunately, it turns out that our sweet little girl has quite the potty mouth. I'll leave her pronunciation of "fork" to your imagination, and suffice it to say that her version of "teeth" sounds like a word you'd hear uttered in a topless bar. Today in the car, she asked repeatedly for some "crack" (fishy crackers), which I'm sure will go over well in public!
Speaking of potty, for those of you who were impressed with her using the potty chair the other day, don't bust out the streamers and confetti just yet. Even chocolate chips can't lure her to sit on it anymore, so we're back to the streaking baby/puddle on the floor routine for now. Doh!
Stay tuned for ridiculous pics of Keira in a leotard! Toddler gymnastics (i.e. Mommy's Very Expensive Photo Op) starts Tuesday and is bound to be worth every penny in terms of Kodak moments.
