What Does a Bug Say?

Ellie-Bug has two obsessions of late:

1) Mama

2) Books

And her favorite book is this one:

She carries it around, holding it up to us plaintively and begging, "Bzzzzz? Bzzzzzzz?!" Sometimes, she does this with tears in her eyes and desperation all over her face, which is precious and a little sad at the same time. Once we agree to read it to her, she grins, turns around backwards, and backs her little butt up into our laps. So incredibly cute. (When she wakes up in the middle of the night begging for "BZZZZZ???!" and sobbing hysterically when I tell her it's time for na-nights, it is equally cute and pathetic...but also very tiring.)

This book, along with several of the other board books she likes, has animal sounds in it, and she's perfecting her own renditions of all the animal sounds. Here's a video of her (I got a little overzealous and tried to get her to throw in some other parlor tricks at the end, but it was a no-go):

I love that her horse and sheep noises sound demon-esque, but her "BZZZZZ!" is my favorite.
